  1. Darkage says:

Using readable fonts is sooooo mainstrem

  2. cgimusic says:

Except I believe they are also allowed to charge you up to £10 for the time spent procuring the data. Still want to bother with this?

  3. Jojo says:

You lost me at “billions of CDs”.

Facebook doesn’t even have a billion users (750 million so far) and not even most of them will do this stupid troll.

  4. TrOllBuRst says:

    only works in europe, problem?

  5. Charlie says:

    CAN’T TELL IF NOT FUNNY…

  6. OleJ says:

… I’d rather save my time and not do this…

    • Julien says:

Because time spent on Memebase and Facebook is precious time.

      • Jocuro says:

I savor every moment spent here like a newborn child. But, the child was born with a mental disability. So it’s sort of a sad joy.

        • Catty says:

I appreciate my moments here like a little six year old girl who is blind but has aspirations to become an astronaut. A hopeful feeling but tainted with helplessness.

        • notthecops1 says:

I savor every moment here like a forever alone closet gay teenager who lives in the bible belt and can’t move away because his parents aren’t moving and isn’t friends with anybody and feels like he can’t talk to anyone so he goes on memebase to ease the pain and boredom.

So glad I’m not, though. I’m twelve and have no idea what any of this is.

  7. Rainbow Dash says:

You have to upload ID and a signature and a whole load of shiz – that’s just effort

  8. Lama says:

Why we don’t take this post.
    And push it to public?

  9. lkjhvgfd says:

This thing asks for more personal information than fb itself

  10. Disco King says:

Dude.. to do this you need to give more personnal information to facebook. Therefore if you do it, your giving facebook what they want.

P.s : that means – DONT DO IT

  11. trollingisawayoflife says:

You really should give some props to the EU for creating this awesome trolling device (i.e. the directive). The UK didn’t invent none of it. Actually, and especially since I take it you’re British, get some EU law in you for Christ’s sake!!!

  12. A.S. says:

Actually this is legit. The image just doesn’t specify one tiny detail: in order to get this CD, you need to provide them with your full address and a scanned government-issued photo ID.

Are you mad at facebook for storing all your old wall posts and whatnot? Send them even more personal information that they probably couldn’t acquire otherwise. That’ll teach them.

  13. THISGUY2 says:

this dosn’t work in the US

  14. Gunther says:

Delete all ID and personal info. wont this also include your profile?
i’ll probably try it if i’m deleting my account.

  15. Defaulty says:

So just to confirm… this DOES NOT work in the US? D:
Because I am seriously about to do this

  16. Tekrith says:

Also by just clicking on Account settings there is now a link to “Download a copy of your Facebook data.”

They could just direct you here, no need for CDs

    • Gunther says:

the troll is having them copy all your personal date onto cd’s and then send them to you.

      • lostforever64 says:

I’m pretty sure they’ll just say go here, and download for free, or ask us to do it for you and pay us money. You know what everyone will do.

  17. Trolly mctrollerton says:

This works in Canada, because it is part of the British Empire. Which means, that there are many other countries (Not in Europe) that belong to the British Empire that can do this! Problem fail trolls?

  18. Catty says:

So this works even though Facebook isn’t a European company? Not very familiar with Internet laws. :/

    • Supernautus says:

To be accessible to users outside of the US they need to abide by the specific laws of those other countries.

      • Just Sayin says:

But the non-British can’t reference this law and expect anything from it, so there still isn’t really any point.

  19. reyasemsz says:

bwahahahahha… this is so epic… i’m too lazy to try tho..

  20. Paul says:

DPA 2000 Section 7 covers “Subject Access Requests”.

    Fail troll is fail

  21. Stephen says:

“They has so many informations D:”

They have what you chose to give them. Problem solved, now you don’t need to give them even more personal information to verify that.

  22. evildave says:

Of course it works in the U.S! You won’t get anything but a rejection in return, but you’ll annoy someone at Facebook.

    Here’s a MUCH more useful facebook link…

  27. ta daa says:

Due to the volume of personal data access requests that we have recently received, we are experiencing significant delay in processing such requests. We therefore are unlikely to respond within 40 days of your initial request. We appreciate your patience and will respond as soon as possible.

We are presently refining our request response processes and approach to align the present high volume of access requests with the resources available to process these requests. We appreciate your patience and will respond as soon as possible.

Please be aware as well that we are not required to comply with any future similar requests, unless, in our opinion, a reasonable period of time has elapsed.

Again, we appreciate your patience and we will respond as soon as possible.

    Thanks for contacting Facebook,
