I think citi field rhymes with pitiful but still think Pittsburgh Pirates are more deserving of that title than the Mets are. If we’re focusing on NY teams only, then I think the Islanders are more deserving than the Mets. Trevor Gillies? C’mon!
I, for one, am a Mets fan. The Mets suck. I honestly don’t care when they get made fun of. I even make fun of them all the time. Also, I’m pretty sure op means “Sh*tty Field.”

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I do believe there are only 6 “professional” sports teams in NYC (disregarding the Red Bulls and WNBA.) there are 9 NY sports teams and 3 are outside the city… Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and NY Islanders, the latter play close to the city but technically in Uniondale. Billboard FAIL for forgetting the amount of teams in your own city.
FAIL for not knowing that Buffalo is on the exact other side of New York and no where near New York City.
“The latter” means the last team mentioned, the Islanders, not either Buffalo team.
